My name is Jay Sawant, and I’m a polyglot full-stack engineer who loves building scalable products end-to-end — from modern web apps to AI-powered backend systems.
Over the years, I’ve worked across technologies like React, Redux, React Native, Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway), Firebase, PWAs, and more 🤓
Lately, my focus has expanded into the world of AI engineering, where I’ve been building LLM-powered applications, designing RAG-based retrieval systems, and developing asynchronous, queue-driven architectures for long-running and AI-assisted workloads. I enjoy working at the intersection of software engineering + applied AI, turning cutting-edge models into real-world production solutions.
Outside of work, I absolutely love football — if I wasn’t a programmer, I’d probably be chasing a professional football career (my alter ego insists ⚽). I also indulge in cooking and the occasional painting session.
